Thoughtful gifts for men...

A few weeks ago when I was really busy and stressed, my boyfriend (who lives a couple of hours away from me when I'm at uni) sent me flowers to say he was missing me and thinking of me. Now, he's going through quite a hectic time himself and I want to do something similarly thoughtful - but what do I send him? He does like sentimental presents but nevertheless flowers are definitely too girly  Any thoughts?

aww, whats wrong with fleurs for guys? I like to surprise them @ work with a big bunch of flowers. It embarrasses the **** out of them. But they love it.

How about you send him a piece of paper about the size of a business card each day over 20 days. Each piece of paper has a word on it, so that each day he gets another piece of the puzzle which when he has all of them spells out some cute sentiment like " I love you and miss you and want your babies " or "YOu make me want to walk like a camel " or other such romantic things.

Or, bake some biscuits and ice them and then pipe "I love you" on them with red icing and send them to him. Awwww

Or, get a pic of you two screen printed onto a pillow case and send it to him.

Or, just rock up to his house unnanounced with a trench coat on and nothing else.

Or, send him a tshirt you've worn which smells like you ....

Etc.
Make something, basically.

Now that's just effing weird - bunny boiler alarm bells would be ringing...

As for thoughtful gifts, why not just send a card or a letter, and write down exactly what you want to tell him, how much you love him and all that soppy stuff that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside...My ex did that for me,and it meant so much more to me than any present would have done.
make him a complication cd of songs that either mean loads to you or are 'your' songs.

Write him a letter or make him a cd with songs on and tell him he needs to work out why each song is on it

Lightsaber! www.firebox.com is the place!
I think the 'Card Everyday' idea is a lovely one! I shall use it!
fLowers would be ideal, I'd love it if a lass got me some red and white roses or carnations.

Otherwise, a puppy.
