So the ruddy icelandic sheep farmers think they'll get away with not paying back the debt they owe to this country eh?

Surely an aircraft carrier flanked with frigate and submarines with sorties flying over Reykavik will make them change their minds, if we're going to invade a country, let's not invade Libya. Let's invade Iceland.

It would be nice if we had Aircraft Carriers.

Or, for that matter, aircraft to use on them.

So, unless you want to ICBM the **** out of a bunch of sheep farmers (which cost a fair ol' chunk), and spray the place with 20mm fire, then its probably best we just leave them be.

To be honest, I'm jealous they've got better scenery then the Lake District.

You know that Iceland basically beat us in the Cod Wars, right? A few armed trawlers and a coastguard cutter Vs. what was at the time the second most powerful navy in the world.

Time to take our old bucket carrier and our submarine (when they stop killing eachother) and send them up north!
