    i am retaking st102 this year without re-teaching. I had a look at moodle and they have changed the syllabus slightly. Would that affect me??would i be writing the exam with the new syllabus?thanks

    They may write an exam paper specifically for you (and others resitting from the previous year).

    Contact them to find out.

    If the syllabus has changed then I'm fairly certain you will take a different paper from the first time candidates.

    You will sit a paper written for your syllabus.

    This is why when there are significant changes to the syllabus you see like '2009/2010 syllabus only - not for resit candidates' on the front cover.

    I will be retaking st102 too, and I am an unregistered student ! I have asked James about the paper for retaking students, he said we are supposed to take the same papers as current first year students !
