Sure you want a half-dead horse and not half a dead horse? May require some skill and talent to kill it/ eat it while it thrashes about in the confined area in a plane.
That was kind of the joke, that visual image. :ahee:

Worst plane food I've experienced was with emirates. Apparently they won an award for their food but I find that hard to believe.
6 hour flight manchester to dubai followed by 8 hour flight dubai to beijing - didn't eat any of their crap.
I was actually in pain when it was time to eat in beijing...better eating their "food" though.

why would they do tht  only think i remember was that some of the stewards did look tired
They do that because the airline has a ceo closely resembled by Gaddafi - not joking. The CEO is a complete nut, he wants the best worldwide image for his airline and to achieve this he runs a nazi regime in the company by firing any person who steps out of line.

The best airline meal I have ever had was a curry en route to Nepal a couple of years ago, flying Gulf Air. It was really, really good!

That said, most airline food I've had is fairly dire. I've always found BA meals fairly unappealing, and I think the worst I've had was on KTHY, which seemed to be three courses in one dish - it involved a frankfurter, peculiar vegetables and what I'd swear was custard, among other things.

Virgin Atlantic was the best [commerical food] I've sampled.
Ditto this. Virgin Atlantic gets my vote too. I love how they keep bringing you food every couple of hours too. Ice lollies, calzones, sandwiches, etc.

BA flight to LA, had mushroom pasta. Absolutely revolting. And was served with a side of cous cous... WTF? However, they later served a scone with Rodda's clotted cream and jam, and a chicken Caesar sandwich
