If C rotates a small angle alpha, what is the the displacement of B.

Just making sure.

What do you mean by 'C rotates a small angle alpha'? Do you mean the rod rotates by alpha, in which case you would need to know where the pivot is and the direction of rotation.

Is this the exact wording in the question or are you told anything else?
