University of Strathclyde or Queen's University Belfast?

They're completely different, but I just can't decide between them! Strathclyde seems better to me for a social life (especially as Queens is so empty at weekends), and i love the city of Glasgow, but the course for English at Queens is absolutely perfect for me, and though I know it might sound petty, it does have a better rep and prestige, which is kind of important to me.
I need to make my decision soon, and any help will be useful, so if anyone knows of any pros or cons for either uni, or has an opinion PLEASE let me know :smile:

Strathclyde. Queen's has a far better reputation that it really deserves! Also Belfast is pretty terrible for nights out. The costs of going out compared to Glasgow will shock you :tongue: Queen's isn't really any more renowned for its English than Steathclyde so I wouldn't be swayed towards it based on a reputation you think it has.
Thanks. I chose Strathclyde! I think you're right, and I will definitely have a better time in Glasgow :smile:
