Does anyone else try and live an ascetic lifestyle? watch

    • Thread Starter

I mean ascetic by Western standards. I mean the only "gadget" I really use is my laptop, other than that I try to avoid drinks other than simple water/milk, eat simple foods, I walk a lot, I read books and study, I like simply going out in the garden with a blanket to lie down on (and if I could have my way, the garden simply be a natural lawn with berry bushes and plant crops, none of this concrete tiling or ornamental sculpturing ****). I can't really describe it - just trying to avoid the hustle and bustle of modern life, trying to life a more simple, non-consumerist/materialist lifestyle. Anyone?
