    Hey guys,
    So I'm learning this topic myself and I just wanted someone to clarify exactly what we need to learn in terms on colours and various oxidation states? I'm seeing different examples in different textbooks...does anyone have a table/notes with all the info we need to know?
    Im doing the edexcel board btw

    Im studying OCR chemistry and I use the specification it tells you exactly what you need to know, so I would advice you to use it.
    For OCR you need to know about
    Copper
    Iron
    Cobalt
    and probably something else

    Page 69. You only need to relate it to the first period of the D Block, so Scandium to Zinc.
