    I think it was sort of proposed, however it looks like it's not going to happen due to it being largely unworkable and totally defeating the point of the new system.

    No the government just seem to be making everything up as they go along at the moment, it could be that they just quietly forget about it.

    Rubbish. You cannot possibly know that. EU don't get maintenance grants for example, so you cannot know the govt's plans unless you are David Willetts!.

    Well of course it differs, its different currencies for a start.

    Here are the current thresholds for various countries given in GBP: http://www.studentloanrepayment.co.u..._schema=PORTAL

    Thats for the current scheme only, they won't have announced thresholds for the new scheme yet.
