From the last time this topic came up:
I can never remember half of the songs I love for these lists (getting old/crap memory etc) so this will probably creep up towards 10 as I come back and edit it....or be swapped around as I think of something I prefer more.
REM - Undertow
REM - Nightswimming
REM - You are the everything
Simon and Garfunkel - Kathy's Song
Rufus Wainwright - Hallelujah (thanks to shrek and the west wing for this one
)
Weezer - The world has turned and left me here
Del Amitri - Roll to me
Abba - Super Trooper
Tom Petty - Free Falling
James - Laid
I could fill up a top 20 list with REM songs (I haven't even mentioned their cover of Wall of Death, or Swan Swan H, or Low, Or radiosong, or Superman, or Drive, or the Scientist, or Leave, or E-bow or electrolite etc etc...and half of my favourites I know by lyrics not by title)

No music ever created would exist if it weren't for The Beatles. They are the past, present and future of all music. Every song ever written is merely a copy of one of their great classics. Their songs will live on forever....
LONG LIVE JOHN
LONG LIVE PAUL
LONG LIVE GEORGE
LONG LIVE RINGO
Hehe, o.k. -so I overexaggerted things a little to make my point!
Cheers, Bradders xx
