Nice tune Liking the the driving bass... the vocals aren't too bad either...Skream's latest album is a lot better than Rusko's; both arguably pioneers of the dubstep genre and expected to carry the flag too... a lot of people don't like his new album much compared to the other one and his EPs and whatnot. I think there's some decent songs on it personally from what I've heard; reminds me of Starkey a little, pretty ecletic "Epic Last Song" is a favourite of mine of that album
I quite like his new album tbh, fianlly ft La Roux is gd as is the last song you mentioned, love his latest tune Shoot yourself in the foot ft Example too although abut more mainstream still quality.

Off subject a little has anyone heard Nero's new song Guilty... wow thats all i can say.

ahh, im glad to hear that i probably would have donated an ipod to you if not.

LOL omg! i used to love all rise by blue how utterly nostalgic. btw, i thought about this, and came to the conclusion my first 4 CDs were busted, avril lavigne, evanescence and system of a down; yeah i dont really get it either.

and both of those ^ are brilliant i seriously cant thank you enough for this, youre opening my eyes to so much new material

yeah, it varies i guess. definitely on shuffle a song will seem much longer than if its played in an album, not only because most songs will be about 4-5 minutes, but because if youre listening to an album all the way through, particularly a gapless one, then youll really be in the mood for it

aww that sucks! if its any consolation i only have one, and its a boy. its really hard to find girls who share my taste in music, the closest ive come is "OMG BRING ME THE HORIZON"...

but yeah, ive always found everyone at metal gigs really friendly anyway, so imo in this genre of music it doesnt matter if you dont have friends who share it with you. the fact that everyones so friendly probably means its really common
I wouldn't have tried to stop you either. I needs my iPod.

That's actually a pretty good first 4 - Evanescence are pretty good. I can only assume you got the one with Bring My To Life on it? I think mine were Orson, Nickelback, The Rasmus and Panic! At The Disco.

Yeh Disarmonia Mundi are brilliant. It's a shame though, because Ettore (the guy playing the guitar in the video) does all the instruments so they never ever do shows...

I love to listen to albums the whole way through. I often appreciate them more when I hear them in a wider context. The way I see see it, their was probably a bit of consideration to the order of the songs and whatnot so I listen to it the way the artist intends it.

I have 2 friends that like metal. One pretty much sticks to SlipKnot, Killswitch, BFMV and Metallica, the other comes to gigs with me no matter who it is and doesn't really listen to the records.
You're right though - about both things. You're a rare (and pretty awesome) breed. I don't know any girls that like any metal beyond BMTH, BFMV, Parkway Drive, Escape The Fate and Suicide Silence. And they are really friendly. I found £15 on the floor at a Devildriver/36 Crazyfists gig and asked the girl standing right in front of me if it was hers. It was but as thanks she gave me £10 back  Then we got talking and she was really nice. I love the metal community.

Are you doing any festivals this year?

I don't know much about music, and everyone seems to hate glee. But I really love the version of this song! Very catchy and dancey

</3 i am truley sorry for your lots

yeah, with the creepy cover of amy lee glaring right at you my camera used to detect her face in the dark under my desk, it actually got to a point where i was pretty scared of being in there. *ahem* anyway. LOL omg orson! haha i totally forgot about them.

ugh thats annoying. bit of a letdown when you find out stuff like that

yeah definitely especially on concept/theme albums etc., the order of the songs is half of the albums... message, i guess.

HAHA wow. well youre lucky! its definitely easier to be a male metal fan i like to show the girls at my school opeth songs, just for lulz. especially the ones where it starts out quiet, it lulls them into a false sense of security that sounds a bit sick written down, actually. oh well

well thank you very much. its a shame, i cant help but feel like a lot of the female population is missing out oh woah, thats so nice of her i wish i could promise id respond in the same way...

alas, im not gotta do lots of work experience this summer, also all of my friends are going to reading so... yeah. annoying, i woulda liked to see the big 4 at sonisphere. how about yourself?
Yeh I definitely don't envy you for that. I have 2 BFMV, an Atreyu and a Paramore poster right by my bed (I know, I know. They're old posters.) and I'm very aware there are about 20 sets of eyes following round the room

I guess it probably is easier as a guy. But it would be soooo much better if the male female ratio was more balanced.
Hah yeh I totally get that. I've done that to people in the past.

I definitely wouldn't have done the same. Maybe bought them a drink, but not given them £10. I mean, it doesn't even make sense, they were so happy to get their money back that they gave away most of it  I realised that although it felt like karma in the sense I got £10 for being nice, but if I had been a **** and just taken it I would've had £15. That's messed up. Luckily though, I'm not a ****

Ah that's a shame, Sonisphere will be awesome, after all I'm going to it the line-up is incredible (even though most the good bands are lower down the bill.)

it can get really weird! :lolwut: haha paramores nothing, i actually still have a poster of FOB up- gotta take that down...

i know! for the ladies as well as the men

LOL yeah, oh bless her, she musta really been enjoying the gig to have been in such a giving mood i could never live with myself if i found more than £10 and kept it, dunno, i worry about little things like that.

woah! so lucky. SEE OPETH! you know, if you want... haha i was really surprised to see biffy headlining i saw them last year at reading (just dont ask ok ) and they were brilliant though. just a bizarre choice, i thought
I still have Paramore up for obvious reasons

From what I got from talking to her she loved Devildriver. I was there for (surprise, surprise) 36 Crazyfists. I'm exactly the same, I can't help but think the fact that I've found £15 means someone else has lost it and they want it back.

Don't you worry about that, I'm going to see Opeth. The bands on the bill I'm most excited about are Firewind, Periphery, Protest The Hero, Anterior, Sylosis, In Flames and Parkway Drive. I know I slammed Parkway earlier for being a favourite amongst teen girls, but the fact is Killing With A Smile is one of the best metalcore albums ever. And I quite like metalcore.

Have you got any gigs or anything lined up?

oh yes, naturally. we all saw the picture

ahh right, she sounds quite the live wire. haha ive never heard either of them! D: well yeah, and id be livid if the shoe was on the other foot and i found out someone had spent my £15.

oh wao haha no some metalcore is brilliant, its more the post-hardcore "omg im so hardcore because this guy screams in this song" that bothers me. i dont know why ive only ever heard one song by parkway drive though. it was off the epitaph tour sampler... i cant really remember much of it

no although im considering seeing echo and the bunnymen in september. bizarre choice i know, considering our conversation, but i love them so i probably will end up going. this summer isnt looking too amazing for gigs really, probably because all the good bands are festivalling and whatnot -.- pfft. how about you? aside from kamelot (was it kamelot? )
Yeh that's pretty much it. Although it was way before the 'accident'. That was just an added bonus

You've never heard of either!? I'm surprised. Crazyfists are popular but more an acquired taste, but I definitely recommend you check them out as well as Devildriver.

Yeh metalcore can be awesome. Like Forever in Terror

    Spoiler:
    Show

But I totally get what you mean. It has a bad rep because all the sceney kids love it. Parkway Drive is ruined by the fans.

Ahh that's a shame. But you are right though. If not tied up at Soni, Download or Bloodstock then they're doing American or European festivals which sucks. It was Kamelot Besides that not a huge amount going...
