    Hi,
I got accepted to these two unis for Film Production and I have no idea which to choose. UCA as far as I know is on a higher level than Leeds but on the other hand Leeds is allegedly an amazing city. But than again, UCA farnham is really close to London... Plus I think that UCA is more suited for people who're into documentary rather than drama and I would prefer to do more drama.

    Thanks for your replies !

I studied Media at Leeds Met last year and I absolutely hated it. It's very unfocused, has minimal contact hours and the lecturers are always off sick/don't seem to care about the subject. I can't say if Leeds Met would be the same for all media degrees (I did Media and Popular Culture) but from my experience I would avoid it and go to UCA, especially since UCA is the more respected University

Having worked with the Leeds Met production team, they do seem quite professional. The people I worked with are more for the multi-camera side of things, but the course itself is meant to be good.

It's ran by the Northern Film School in partnership with Leeds Met, so whilst it may be a Leeds Met course, it is an actual film school.

Still, I'd go to UCA for the rep it has.
