Just a couple of questions regarding driving test. If I answer my show me/tell me questions incorrectly would they be counted as minors?

Also with the independent driving section, say I made a slight error I.e missing a turning would I be marked down?

Test tomorrow and need to clarify.

    Thanks in advance

Yes, if you answer one or both incorrectly you will receive 1 minor.

No. If you made a wrong turning the examiner will just guide you back to the roads they want you on. You will only be marked down if you make any driving faults. If you do forget where you're going though just ask the examiner, it's not a memory test, just to see how you made independent decisions. So for example, if you find yourself driving towards a roundabout in the distance and forget which exit you need to move off to then just ask the examiner and they will clarify where you need to go.

Best of luck with your test.

This is becoming increasingly more frequent as it's clear candidates are still not being taught how to drive independently. Last minute lane-changes and late or missing signals will be marked as usual, so you need to put a plan into action well ahead of reaching the junction.

Spot on. The independent part also watches what you do when you're not prompted to mirror by the examiner before every junction or roundabout.

All the best for tmw- take my advice just imagine your examiner is your friend and you are dropping her/him home.. Just concentrate on your driving, plan well ahead and relax

    Yeah- this is the case.
I hope you pass your test.
