I've had my implant removed today at about 3pm, and from 5pm onwards I've been feeling sick, dizzy and so, so tired as if I'm gonna pass out. I was fine when I had it put in and had the same anaesthetic in my arm. I've eaten a normal amount today and had a good sleep last night, I don't get it. I'm trying to do coursework and just can't do it, I feel that awful. Does anyone know of anyone who's had similar symptoms? Should I contact my doctor?

I'd just rest. Don't try and do work. Lie down, drink lots of water and light foods, watch a film, maybe sleep a bit more and basically chill. Oh, and eat a bit of sugar, get your energy levels up a bit.

If its still going on as bad tomorrow, then contact your doctor.

It could be the sudden absence of the extra hormones throwing your body out of whack.

Like DH-Biker said, take it easy today, and if things haven't improved in a day or two, contact your doctor.

Maybe you need some more iron- dark leafy veg and vitamins? Or a rare steak.

It could be a brief hormonal imbalance cos of the change, my friend had similar symptoms when she had hers put in. Just rest, if it persists speak to you doctor.
