I have my firm choice as a 3 year course from Cambridge for Mathematics. I'm currently trying to fill in my online Student Finance application but I have a question.

When it's retrieved information from UCAS, it's given me a list of every college and maths course Cambridge offer. Obviously I can pick out which college is mine but there's a choice between 4 years and 3.

I know my course is a 3 year course but I would like to take the 4th year if I earn a place on it while at the university. I've heard many universities say it is easier for Student Finance to take off additional years of finance than to add one on.

    Should I put 3 years or 4?

Put three for now. If you get onto the 4 year course later, just send a Change of Circumstances (CO1) form to SF.
