I am an overseas student from the Caribbean and I am wondering whether or not you can apply to more than 5 Universities. I am attempting to transfer to the UK to study Law, but I am aware that UCAS only affords 5 spaces.
However, is it possible for me to apply to other Universities directly in addition to my 5 choices on UCAS?
Because from what I have gathered it would appear so.

Erm, you'd have to contact them directly but I think they'd all expect you to apply through UCAS tbh.

No, you can't unless they aren't within the UCAS system (which is only an option for drama schools etc).

Techincally yes you possibly can, but your options will be quite limited, for there is only one private university in the UK (applications aren't done through UCAS). This is the University of Buckingham.
So you can apply to your five choices through UCAS then apply to Buckingham privately via their website. I think this is the case but Im possibly wrong.
Otherwise, no you cannot apply to six.
There is UCAS Extra for applicants who are rejected by all of his or her choices.
