Puce curses that are sounds not words - "Puce" can be a colour reffering to the looks of her old wounds and "curses that are sounds not words" could emphasise that there are no words to describe the deep pain as such she has felt; she "caws" and such to try and tell of his hurt towards her.
Long slow honeymoon - sexual undertone and vivid imagery. She asks for a male corpse to satisfy her sexual fantasies, showing her disturbed, unsettling state - caused by the betrayal. The line also links to her want of revenge on all men.
Hope i helped. I'm taking this exam this year too.. GOOD LUCK!Last edited by YogeetaH; 12-04-2011 at 12:02.
