Being muslim I have obviously different beliefs to non-muslims .. I integrate well with non-muslims despite not doing the things they quite commonly do (i.e. drink, sex ..) ... My social circle consists of a couple of muslim male mates though and a superficial female mate .. However the situation has become that one of the muslim females drinks and does most things a normal muslim shouldn't, quite happily infront of my face ... I didn't realise I can come accross as a serious person and I said something to her about what she does that she didn't like .. She has obviously *****ed about me and yeah its made me look bad... We dont talk anymore .. Obv that doesn't go down as being kl with my fellow male asian mates who are relaxed about the situation.... I just overlooked it tbh and then went on to realise my asian male friends actually enjoy doing stuff the superficial female mate does.... they always invite me out clubbing ect .. And I just say no, i don't do that shizz .. prob come accross as a serious person, religious when in actuality im quite modern and banterful and not overly religious (I just respect my values). Sometimes my asian friends can follow the banter of the females about me being strict and obv not to my face but I can somewhat sense it ... I'm thinking i should just relax a bit more and go with the flow and find what they do is kl and just really not care, still keep them as mates ... I regret this happened, but in hindsight learned a lot from it ....
