I've recently become the owner of a nice pasta machine and am starting to play around with it. Does anyone else make their own pasta? Made anything brilliant? Terrible? Any unmissable tips or pitfalls? Does anyone else sort of want to make a Sauron's Tower out of big pasta sheets, spinach and ricotta? Ok, just me.

Don't leave tagliatelle lying around on top of each other in the pan whilst you eat a starter and then go back to boil it later. I made mush that way. (But I had bought back-up supermarket stuff so the meal wasn't a total disaster!)

Although the bits a the edges that I pulled off the mush and cooked where yummy, so looking forward to a more successful second attempt!

I did something similar at first and discovered that beyond excessive flouring seemed to make everything stay apart.
