One of my front teeth is chipped on the front. What should I do? And more importantly, will the dentist be able to do anything? I am never eating a toffee crisp ever again!

How big is the chip and whereabouts? I chipped one of the front teeth completely in half after an accident in School and my mum started freaking out because she thought it would be permanent. I got sent home and we called the Ambulance LOL! The Paramedic said they can't do much about teeth but have us an address for some NHS Dental Hospital or something and a doctor there managed to add some sort of magical filling thing and it's just a full tooth now, can't see any difference.

The dentist should be able to do something about it, so dont fret.My youngest son chipped one of his front teeth just a couple of weeks ago.The dentist did some root canal work and then filled it.He went back the next day to have it filled in and now his tooth looks normal. He will have to have it crowned when he gets to 16 though.

yeah, book into see the dentist ASAP, don't consume anything way too hot or cold as it could damage the nerve ( I found out the hard way when the cinema i chipped it at gave me some slush puppy to cool the pain, so now i have a tooth which is pretty close to being dead!)
