Hi I'm currently doing some revision for my exam in June and I came across a question that I have no idea how to do. So I was wondering if one of you guys could walk me through it. Before I present the question I'm terribly sorry but I don't know how to do the maths thingy in these forums.

    (2x^4y^2 / 3xy^4)^3
Thats basically the question what you have to do is simplify it but I have no clue on how to do so.
You can cancel some of the x's and y's in the fraction.

I know but the answer in the book is:
    8x^9 / 27y^6
