# Linear laws watch

1. Hi there could someone please, explain what this is all about, I really hate this chapter (feels like a load of crap to me).

Thanks.
2. I've not come across "linear laws" before... linear laws of what? Properties of linear transformations? Rules for solving linear differential equations? Laws governing motion in a straight line?

Haha. Its to do with reducing something like y=ax^n to a straight line graph.. very boring.

4. Take logarithms of both sides

Use laws of logs:

Compare to the equation of a straight line

y = mx + c

Plot log y on the y axis

Plot log x on the x axis

log a is the y intercept
