Long story short I broke up with my girlfriend of around 5 years around 6 months ago, I am just about to leave uni and have no idea (or experience) of meeting new girls.
    Where should I start?

Through friends, in classes, in the pub, by doing hobbies, on nights out, at work, charity work, gym, etc. Just start talking to someone at one of the above things and see where things go! I'm sure in day-to-day life, you must see women at some point?

I think the OP was looking for constructiive advice rather than a sarky comment.

    There are five basic ways:

work (for this you will need a job)
friends of friends (for this you will need friends)
a bar (for this you will need to be funny)
a club (for this you will need to be good looking)
the gym (for this you will need pecs)
