I previously posted that thread. Since then, me and that guy had sex. He then got drunk and told me it could never happen again.

However, last night I went to a friends house and the guy got annoyed that i was with another guy. He said he was jealous, that he liked me and finds it impossible when he's with me because he wants me but is scared of ruining our friendship. Fair play, i like him too.

But then he said he'll never be the guy i want him to be, and he wont ever be the boyfriend i want. He told me he wants me to see him as an extremely close friend.

we both agree that friends with benefits doesn't work.

So where now? I like him alot and he has insinuated we will have sex again.

But she said she really likes him and he trust me a guy can only keep being an FWB for so long eventually he will like her.

From what i've read, he's told her he likes her too.

What i dont understand is why this guy says he likes her but then says they should stay friends...

Give him a knee trembler once a week to keep breakfast time awkward then once that's done after a few weeks tell him to pop down the shop and buy a can of man the f*ck up. Sounds like a right gopping pussy and some twilight crap 'Oh I'll never be good enough for you sob sob'

    Simples.

this is the exact same situation that two of my friends found themselves in.. the guy felt that because they had been extremely close before they had sex , and if they had got together and broke up, then it would just have turned messy and he felt that they would have lost their friendship. however in my opinion there seems to be alot more feelings invovled with you two, i say make the jump and tell him that if he doesnt think that a relationship is going to happen then no sex that way there is no confusion

    This. A thousand times this.
Might also be worth considering whether you can stand going out with someone who has blatant self-esteem issues. It can be a trial...

    You're both crazy.

Stop messing around and coming up with bs like "it would ruin our friendship" You've had sex, you're "friendship" is gone, you both admitted you like each other.

    JUST GET TOGETHER ALREADY!!!!!!

Am I not allowed to have male friends? I was just round his house with another girl watching a film. He went to school with me. Big deal...
