Keele has 10 bars on campus. Including one that is basically a pub. There's also the village pub. And then 1-2 miles away is a town full of pubs. Also good clubs. And then another 2 miles away are many other towns and a city all full of pubs.

You can't do straight English no but you can do straight Politics. And the site is fine :p:

My friends and I run the politics society, there's good tory and Labour societies. Lib Dems are absolutely hilarious. Basically yes, the scene is good. We jsut got a few students elected to the council.

Poor person accomodation is ok, pretty generic.

Slough is almost literally composed of ****.
Is it on campus, where do I want to be?

    Oh cool.

I know, I lived there, but I am just wondering where, and in what capacity, it 'popped up'.

Oh, and the site is ****. No strait English is weird but it appears I already have what they want so will get an unconditional which is always good.

Yes, and cheaper stuff is off. It doesn't really matter, anywhere but Hawthorns bvecause Templar bar is ****e.

Keele is a Uni that specialises in Dual honours, meanign about 90% of peopl do two subjects minimum. I do single honours but started in English as well, my housemates do English. It's a good department but you'll soon get bored of post colonialism.

Varies. Basically about £1.50 but it varies. KPA is usually more expensive but they import amazing stuff from all over on a rotating schedule.

EDIT: Basically, there is not a single night where it is not possible to get a pint for £1. However, you can't always do this in every bar and it isn't always the good stuff.

Why are the Lib Dems hilarious and what council are we referring to?

    I see. Thanks.

I shall have to ponder this. Competition currently includes Bournemouth, because it is near the sea, and Gloucestershire, because I like the accent :holmes:

How long have you been looking at Keele and don't know this? :p:

Politics society is newly reformed, it might die if we all get bored of it but basically it's good. We do Question Time, for example, but it's two hours long and has wine.

There's two of them and they're not very good at running a society. Nice guys, just useless. The local council.

My Keele booklet of societies makes no mention of a Tory society. I was thinking "it's not that north "

Yeah, I really like a lot of French music.

Your 'in bold' thing makes you very hard to quote btw.

    What about Slough? :holmes:
I assume it was just the local election results or something, but the contrast between just 'Slough' and the rest of the rather more long-winded headlines was funny.

    Anyone watching Eurovision?

I was planning on playing the Eurovision Drinking Game, but I don't think there is enough alcohol in the house country for "take a sip every time somebody waves a flag".
