My ears are burning. My UKIP was awesome
I hit the nail on the head back in the day when I claimed you weren't a true UKIP supporter after that political compass result

Well, no. He is a young lad and his views and opinions will likely keep on changing while he forms his own opinions about a variety of things in the world. You are, to be fair, a solid Conservative. I'm not necessarily against you pretending to be Labour, but you probably should pretend to be it all the time. In fact I want to see an anti-maggie sig if you wish to remain as HomeSec :p:
That did sound slightly patronising towards him; yes he's young but he's not an idiot. There's no way he'd make a huge shift from Lib Dem to UKIP; he's merely playing the game as I have said, in the bar when we act as ourselves and talk about RL issues, I don't see any great harm in being honest about myself.

It does and I don't particularly like AFC for that kind of duplicity. The line I take is straightforward really.
Why do you care? If he argues the Lib Dem point of view and then the UKIP point of view then good for him. Its a game Adorno and I fear that you take it too seriously sometimes.

Yes I am aware of your opinions through your somewhat blunt debating style

Why not? Norfolkadam and Nothos used to be rampant socialists. Bags used to be one of the most libertarian Tories we had, he's now a socialist.

In the game though; we have no idea whether Norfolkdam and Nothos are still committed Socialists in RL. Perhaps they wanted a change in the game and I see no problem with that

I never denied it if you go back and check. My position was that 1) my UKIP didn't reflect or have to reflect RL UKIP and 2) that PC results do not define, or even always serve as a useful indicator, of someone political position thus 3) the manner in which you arrived at your conclusion was flawed

It isn't. I'm still occasionally changing my opinion on things as well. If we go back a year or so, and Adorno can vouch for this, I was completely against removing grammar schools for example. I don't doubt there is an element of game-playing but I don't think this is all it is. Besides which, Toronto's UKIP is still rather different to the RL one, if also rather different to mine.

Speaking to them outside of the MHoC, I know that they have actually had an ideology switch, as has Bags.

I shall reply to this point in the sub-forum without fearing of releasing sensitive information.

Yes and there is no problem with that and both your UKIP and Toronto's UKIP was different to Abucha's UKIP

    Fair enough.

And yes, yours drowned in a pool of its own festering, xenophobic nonsense

A slightly ironic statement given how seriously you sometimes take being Home Sec

Farage is a good debater IMO, take it as a compliment. He is UKIP.

sometimes, from what I have seen of him, he is a good speaker, but like most of the Right he tends to come off as incredibly pompus at times.
