It was what was quoted on the sites pages!!!!

In pound sterling it would be:
£1,898.28 for Jamaica and £923.58 for the Bahamas... big difference no? and the Bahamas is all inclusive

No seriously... it's actually called Duff Beer.

It says "The Legendary Duff BEER Premium Lager" The website on the can is www.duff-bier.com

My dad bought it for me as a gift - he saw it in the Czech Republic and just had to buy it.

It's not bad - it's German lager though... I'm not a huge fan of German lager. Not bad though

That's what the front of the can looks like:

What do you think of the letter?

    Dear Chris

I hope that you are keeping well and I'd like to thank you for the support you gave the local Conservatives in the elections in May to the Epsom and Ewell borough Council. I'd also like to thank you for passing on my concerns last year over the Education Maintenance Allowance; I'm glad that this disastrous policy from the last Government has now been scrapped.

My concern is something that comes under your department and in particular the policy of ensuring people are better off in work than on benefits. I have a friend that lives in a hostel in Oxford; he fell out with his parents and subsequently has fallen into the 'poverty trap'. He receives various types of benefits and is on the waiting list for a council flat; he has no disability and is not in full-time education so he's not deemed as a 'priority'. After paying rent to the hostel, he has £20 a week to spend on food; which is simply not sufficient.

He's applied for various jobs to earn money but hasn't found much luck; for example, his CV wasn't even accepted by WH Smiths because he has been on JSA in the last three years. He has also found out that if he managed to get a part-time job and worked over 16 hours in one week, then the amount of housing benefits that he would be entitled to would drop dramatically; he claims he would be £70 a week worse off if he were to seek work. He has tried looking for alternative accommodation but no one will rent without a deposit or will accept housing benefits as a form of pavement.

This is completely unacceptable and I am in hope that we are doing something about this with our 'better off in work than on benefits' policy. My question is; what is the Government doing to stop the terrible trap that my friend is in? He can't be the only one; there must be thousands of others.

I hope you understand the concern and get back to me in due course.

    Regards

    Alex Buchanan
