    1. American spell checker.
    2. Because it'd be awkward having them going on about it.

    Why?
Because my dad would be embarrassing about it.

Your parents know about every single one of your friends being on holiday? You can't be that rural, surely?

So you would rather not get any than have your dad know?

Why did you have to tell them anything anyway. You're 16 or 17 or w/e you should have just gone.

I'm not rural at all, I'm from Falkirk. And well pretty much my whole group of friends are on a holiday I decided not to go to.

I'm 17. And I kinda have to tell them where I'm going, I'm not just going to leave...

You don't have other friends you can "meet up" with?

I just tell my parents I'm off out.

Well they're going to ask and it wouldn't be great if I just didn't tell them. I have a good relationship with my parents and tell them what I'm doing everytime I go out anyway :erm:

The Unions can **** off. Public sector workers already enjoy generally better salaries and pensions than their private counterparts, whilst working less and still getting more holidays. People are living longer now so it's perfectly bloody reasonable to expect people to work past 60 - damn, that must be the median age in my office - and if you don't like it then you should ****ing well take a private pension.

Haha, I would say that, but that excuse is temporarily unavailable due to my friends being away. It was more in reply to telling them I'm going out and not telling them why.
