'Fraid not. When an umlaut is not used - for example for convenience such as when using a keyboard / printing device as this is, an 'e' is placed directly after the 'u' umlaut, to represent the sound. I should know, I have 2 umlauts in my name!!

Did a lot of driving in the last few days. Some thoughts:

    The M3 is gorgeous.
The M25 isn't that terrible all the time.
    Milton Keynes is Satan.

    Agreed!

Speaking of driving, I was quoted by an insurer in France that to insure my (well not now, after the quote ) new Citroën DS3 Racing it will cost 118.520,76€ that is a huge WTF as the car only costs 29.990€

So, did the reset actually make people think of new stuff or just find a good excuse to rehash old things?

I read somewhere that if you cause an accident in which someone is seriously injured, it can cost the insurance company £15 million, so I suppose that probably explains it. It is extremely annoying though. I'll have probably forgotten how to drive by the time I'm old enough for the insurance to be affordable

Assuming you mean Poverty Abolition Act and not anything else, it's because anyone who wanted to oppose welfare related Bills would hide behind it saying oh PAA is so great. It was, in my opinion, the main reason for the reset. PAA just made this game unplayable.

So it's not so much the bill but it's affect on the House?

I would argue it sort of ruins the game. I've never looked through it entirely, but every time I made attempts to discuss this, I have had the old 'PAA is great so leave it alone'. The problem is more that you can not measure it's effectiveness so you can't tell whether it's good or not. It's proponents say it is good in theory and that is our only quantifiable measure of it, so it stays and debate is stifled.
