It's not a battle... In a battle you can just kill the opponent - this person is just deluded.
    Fair point XD

It does make sense. In Star Trek it's only the people wearing red who die... China don't want to have series showing red uniformed individuals dying... it makes them look bad.

Good riddance. I don't see the appeal of going on a show to be berated by an old ginger (no offence to anyone) woman to try and win very little money. The odd times I've watched it they rarely get £2000.

That's not very little money tbh.

    Unless you mean comparatively.

To be honest, £2000 for about an hours work is pretty good...

Well yeah, it's a nice amount of money. But on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire you get that amount after 3 questions. Compared to the vast majority of other game shows, the prize money in relation to what you have to do (and endure) is pretty low.

I've only ever seen that happen on the celebrity/charity versions, tbh. And even that is only because they up the money for those shows.

In the early days of the weakest link people used to get the top amounts.

I never watched it back then. In fact, it's rare that I watch it these days as well.

It was on one of my phone feeds - this is the most recent one a search shows.
