atm we do theses modules for y12: FP1, S1!, S2 and for 13: FP2, M2, D2. I was wondering how hard are the modules compared to year 12, esp FP2. i got 93% on S1 (yet that was an easy module) and im predicted an A for as level. Is it likely you drop a f maths grade due to how hard year 13 is.

FP3 is optional, in Further Maths for AS you must do FP1 and then for A2 you can pick FP2 or FP3 as the next compulsory unit; as far as I'm aware...

yes, what about fp3, what exam board is this, and obviously 2nd year is harder than 1st year A-levels. But, getting A in F. maths shouldn't be any harder per say as you should be smarter by the end of year 12, not stupider, so you should be more than capable of succeeding in it.

    Best of luck my friend!

It depends whether you need Further Maths for university at the A2 extent. There's no such thing as an easy A level anyway; they all require work and effort to be put in. I'd personally continue with Further Maths as I'd rather struggle with equations than 5000 word essays in English or new situations in the Sciences.

I'm 100% sure you have to do fp2 and fp3. For OCR that's the case anyway.

Then you might want to check again. For Further Maths A-Level in OCR, you can do FP2 and/or FP3 (FP2 is not a prerequisite for FP3)

Ah okay. People doing FM at my school are doing fp2 and fp3, I naturally thought it was compulsory.

Ahhh man, poor shout, feel sorry for ya!
I did d1 for my AS FM, most boring, annoying maths ever! I can imagine d2 is even worse
