I'm so out of the loop

Last couple of jobs I had was through a friend so I didn't need to bother with application process but now I'm unemployed again and I'm not sure where to start. I guess I'm just looking for parttime/fulltime wotk to get some money and I guess in retail although really I haven't got a clue. What are the best websites for this sort of stuff? Are all applications done online nowadays? Fill me in, cheers.

Jobcentre website is usually quite good.
Check other website by using a search engine for job websites.
Also check your local newspaper.

It might be some help telling us whereabouts you live, also try looking on the jobcentre plus vacancy list aswell as handing your CV in to shops..

jobcentre website is probably one of the best.
and check if the place you wanna work has a website, they should have a section for jobs and you can apply from there.

The of course you can apply directly to the place you're thinking of working
The local paper
Windows of job agencies
your county council website


My brother was unemployed for 6 months, i know my job searching :P
