well the sad thing is, if the referees that these two games got werent crap then madrid would have moved on.

Although the referee has made some bad decisions for Madrid, he's also been extremely lenient - Carvalho and Alonso could've easily been sent off, Carvalho after about twenty minutes....
    It works both ways?

Nice to see Abidal back after what happened, even though I think Barca could easily find a better player than him...

I live in hope that one day a sniper(hired by Jose perhaps?) will actually take out one of the Barca players and no one will take their writhing and rolling seriously.

Madrid have cheaters in the team aswell namely Marcelo and Di Maria.
On the scale of Pedro, Alves and "Sergio's" panto performance last match?

    No chance.

The Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernández had earlier rejected suggestions that Uefa should act against them, describing the complaints as "pathetic and lamentable". He added: "Barcelona have always respected opponents and shown exemplary behaviour. It is logical that Uefa should turn down the complaints. I think it's lamentable and pathetic, everything that is going on – all the complaints and denouncements. It is sad. I would rather just talk about the football."
Oh Xavi, you're either a complete moron [probably the case] or deluded...

Not with Busquets and Pedro teaming up.

Real shame. Apparently Barca youth camp can teach you football, but not honour.

This just show how much of an effect the Pepe red card had on the entire tie.

Can't believe I actually want United to win the CL :facepalm2:

Eugh match, ref robbed Madrid of a legit goal and while Carvalho could've gone off, Mascherano should've been booked for that dive and Ronaldo was denied a couple of free kicks. Diarra did as good a job as he could've but they missed Pepe's shadowing of Messi. If nothing else this tie exposes the facade that is FC Barcelona's "pure football", hopefully the final will see the United of the first 10 minutes in the 2009 final and we'll get a half-decent ref.

There were little incidents of diving in this match.(Mascherano, Arbeloa, Iniesta(once)) Busquets didn't! lol.
Abidal = Great man, deserving ovation. This referee knew how to do his job and even though he didn't give some free-kicks to Ronaldo which he deserved, he was very leniant with Carvalho.
People on here are starting to really exagerate their comments based upon this match. Waving cards? Not in this match, very few diving from both teams.
