ive got 5ms as the horizontal velocity
2. Next you have to find the vertical velocity with s=ut+1/2at^2
s=1
t=1
a=-9.8
u=?

after that you can find the total velocity using Pythagorus:
so total velocity = Sqrt {(horizontal velocity)^2 + (vertical velocity)^2}

finally you can use trig to find the angle (a):
tan(a) = vertical velocity/horizontal velocity

Someone might want to check my answers but I got
Initial Velocity = 7.7m/s
Angle = 49.7
