I took module 1 maths at higher level in March 2010 and got a D , then resat it but did the foundation paper and got a D again.
    Also got a D in Module 3
I now have module 5 to get through - is there any chance I could pull a C out of the bag with two D's and will the D at the higher paper count as more than the d at the foundation level. Does anyone know how to work out the marks that they put on the result slip?
I am really confused and getting upset about this. I am having extra maths lessons every week which my mum is paying for but don't appear to be getting anywhere.
    Anybody help? Thanks

As far as I know they count for the same thing (otherwise it wouldn't make sense for the Foundation paper to only go up to C). Have you thought about resitting the previous modules? I don't know what the grade boundaries are but I think it's unlikely you'll be able to get a C with the grades combined even if you get a C unless you achieve a very high % and they'll total to a C but as I said I don't know what the grade boundaries are like for Foundation!

I probably will re-sit the first two modules but am feeling disillusioned by it all now. I have resat them both twice and as I said dont appear to be getting anywhere
