    Hi

Basically I was wondering why firms ask whether you've applied to them before on forms. I made a few really rushed and poor applications last year and I'm hoping to apply to the same firms again this year, but I'm worried that if I tell them I've applied before that it may prejudice my chances. My previous applications were very poor and I'm really hoping they don't come back to bite me!! If I did not include this on the form, could it damage my chances later?

    Thanks

It's completely fine, I had applied to most of the firms I reapplied to for training contracts and we talked about my previous interview experience with the firm. The firm I'm joining is one I'd been rejected from before. I wouldn't worry about it - it's best to be truthful about it, they are pretty alert to things like this, it probably gets flagged up in their database anyway.
