    As the title says, which foods (for some inexplicable reason), taste better burnt?

    For me its got to be:

    Just add the tiniest amount of olive oil at the bottom of the pan and you get a delicious layer of burnt, very edible rice underneath the fluffy rice on top. Try it, its really delicious.

    Bonfire toffee, toast, creme brulee, BBQ food and marshmallows.
    There's a reason why people don't cook burnt foods intentionally.

    I purposely leave lasagne in the oven just a few minutes too long, burning a little to get the epic crunchy edges.
