    Same goes for cheese on toast!
    Also oven chips & roasties are great slightly charred.
    Roast Peppers, Aubergine & parsnip I prefer charred
    TOAST=especially the knobby bits with butter :sogood:

    OOH and the rice at the bottom of a pan of risotto or paella?

    Onions, most kinds of sugar/starch-based foods (not cremated, just enough to be considered burned). I'd definitely agree with pizza, though not really to the extent of the picture - I like it dark brown but not quite black with a bit of a burn over the cheese.

    Edit: also, butter. Again, not fully cremated.
