I completed my student finance a few weeks ago, and everything seemed fine, i entered all the details correctly and the application was submitted.

In my househould, my mother earns 0 and my father earns less than 25k, so me and my sister should be entitled to the full amount of maintenance grant, and any bursary.

However, now my sister has tried and has encountered an error. It's automatically put my mothers income, exactly the same as my fathers income on hers, meaning she's not entitled to the full maintenance grant.

Even worse, i've just checked mine, and now it's changed my mtohers income on my application, to exactly the same as my fathers.

Now it says that i'm entitled to:
    Maintenance Loan Maximum £4,116.00
    Tuition Fee Loan Maximum £3,375.00
    HE Maintenance Grant N/A £2,166.00

I understand the maximum grant should be 2,900 not 2,166 and unless you get the maximum, you can't get any bursaries from the university.

Now i'm really confused as to why on earth they would just change these details suddenly, and how i can get it corrected. My sister has rang up about hers and theyve got my mum, dad, and her all writing a letter stating what's wrong, and my sister sending a birth certificate, when i havn't been even asked to do that.

This is their fault, and we have to go through all this?
