I will be applying to study medicine in September, and I know that only four of your choices on UCAS can be for medicine; so, what was your other choice? Just out of curiosity! I'm unsure as to what to pick. Thanks!

I put down Biomedical Science at Sheffield, got an offer really quick.
Most will put down biomedical science, but there's a whole range of stuff, like medical biochem, neuroscience, even nursing is a good option. Put down what you think you'll be happy studying for 3 years.

I didn't bother, it was Medicine or nothing for me. If i had 4 medicine rejections and 1 Biomed offer i would be pressurised by my family to do biomed and i really wouldn't want to.

In retrospect, i kinda wish i applied for Physics as a 5th choice just for the sake of it.

I applied for biological and medical sciences (Hons) at Liverpool. I also got an offer very quickly. I know that some biomed courses make offers for AAA though which seems a waste but I got an offer for ABB.
