I always see clubs with sponsorship from financial firms like Deloitte.

How can apply for sponsorship, on a university club or your own project from the banks/accountancy firms?

    Thanks.

You have to contact the relevant person in their HR with your sponsorship proposal. The proposal has to be quite formal and usually offers them different 'packages' to choose from - e.g. bronze may offer them only 1 event in the year, where as platinum may offer them an unlimited number of events. Often the bank will then ask you to come in and pitch your proposal. It'd be difficult for a new/smaller society because, chances are, the banks are already sponsoring other societies at your university, so you need to give them a reason to choose your society over any other.

Thanks for your reply mate, really appreciate it.

I was actually trying to get sponsored for a financial website I have going that I think will be in the banks best interests to sponsor. The clubs information will be useful if I decide to start one in the future.

Do you think the process will be similar? Thanks again.

It'd be similar, but it'd be harder to get sponsorship I think.

    Much harder. If not, impossible.
