    They're not even popular now.

    The Strokes.
If they announced a reunion next week they would sell out stadiums.

    Blink
I would love the Blink of old to go on but if they're gonna be as **** as they've been recently then they should stop and leave us with the awesome memories of the past.

Agreed, i was massively disappointed with them at Leeds Fest last year, they're just not the same anymore.

I think it's a pretty obvious choice to be honest, they're a huge band and they'll live on for definite.

    Radiohead:
One of the biggest bands in the world right now (biggest on Lastfm) so I'll imagine they'll be listened to for years to come.

    Tool:
People can hate Tool all they want, but they continue to hold a large and growing fanbase of people just discovering their music.

I'm not a massive fan myself but I reckon Muse will be decent. They're not too dissimilar to the old style of rock for fans of that to appreciate it. And they're different enough for their music to not be stale in ten years time.

I still think that the gods of rock like Led Zep will always be revered though.

Blink 182 is the next generation's Journey.

I can imagine my kids, absolutely plastered, screaming along to All The Small Things the way I do to Don't Stop Believing.

Arctic Monkeys (I can't believe they haven't been mentioned more already!)
    Coldplay
The Killers (even though I don't like them)
The Libertines (but in a different way to the others - they'll be more of a cult band)
    Muse
