Speaking as a NOer, it's a pretty appalling ad, misleading about the effects of AV and insulting to the average voter's intelligence.

Is there a word for a post that is too strange to be serious but too dull to be a troll?

That advert was a real disaster. Their reasoning was a disgrace, especially the guy with the red cap

The entire campaign on both sides has been a joke and a farce

I'd agree on that one and I work for one of them!

Indeed. Instead of opening up debate both sides have been very petty, childish and patronising of the public.

One thing that particularly shocked me was the "yes2av.org" domain rerouting you to "no2av.org" - that's serious dirty tricks right there. I think an inquiry should be held after the referendum into both sides to publicly chastise both campaigns and recommend changes to legislation to improve the quality of discourse for future referenda.
