So I'm 18, still learning but wanted to get insured on my mum's car whilst I'm learning. Getting a whole year's worth of insurance isn't worth it for me because I'm away most of summer then going to uni, so just looking for some temporary stuff. I know it's out there I just can't find it! Everywhere is saying I need to be over 21, but I've heard of several people being insured temporarily at <21.

Anyone know of any insurance companies that will cover me?

I got insurance for odd days and weekends on my dads car under his name while I was learning to drive. Get your mum to ring up her insurance company, hopefully they'll offer something similar.
