I wouldn't have a relationship with an OAP, no matter how awesome she is

Not so much once both parties are over the age of consent, but large age gaps could still be uncomfortable.

Yes. I (almost 16) wouldn't date anyone older than 18, or younger than 15. The older I get, the less important the age gap is. Isn't there like that 7 rule or something?

Age isn't the most important thing - marriages work with 15 or so year age gaps, but at my age anyone that old is just a bit of a pervert, and anyone younger is a kid. Which is not what I'd look for in a boyfriend!

If he was over 30, I'd see him as in a different stage in life. Not necessarily too old in mentality, but looking for something else, maybe seeking a young girl for a reason, or pushing commitment as far ahead of him as possible. I'd be willing to date someone younger, although don't find it very likely

    Oh here we go again.

    Prepare yourselves for the inevitable

"Well I'm very mature for my age so I usually end up dating older guys age is just a number"

I swear girls think they've grown up and try to grow up as soon as they can, I mean as soon as they're born they're pushing around prams with baby dolls in

I'm 10 years younger, it kinda changed my perspective. Now I only see an age gap as really big if it is 15+ years.

As long as the gap isn't massive, I don't really care.

    Yes.

I personally don't go out with anyone more than 5 years older than me or 2 years younger. It's jsut preference, really. However, it also depends on the guy

I do not see anything wrong with big age difference though, as long as both persons in the relationship are in the same age range. If you get what I mean. 25 and 20 years old are OK, but 20 and 15 years old are not, that would be classed as paedo! loool

    Yes, it matters a lot.
I used to think that age was just a number blah blah blah liberal canadian blah blah blah. Last year I dated a guy who was in his 30's (I'm 20), and it didn't work because we are in very different placed in our lives. He's looking to get married and settle down, I'm looking to have fun and travel.
I wouldn't necessarily say that age is the problem, it has more to do with maturity, and what stage of life you are in.

I told my girlfriend we're leaving. She told me she didn't like our relationship anyway.

    I said "that's a big word for a 5 year old."
