Basically me and a friend are a little stumped as we are so sure there is an issue here but we can't seem to find it within the Data Protection Act 1998.
We've been given a website and had to scrutinise it, we've done most of it however there's one issue we have.
The company site is for sale of alcohol, the owner of this company doesnt want his alcohol going to drink drivers and on the order form has the question.
"Do you have a conviction for drink driving? Yes/No."
What we want to know is...is this allowed on the form or is there something within the Data Protection Act that prevents this within the first 3 schedules and the 8 key principles?
If anyone could give us a bump in the right direction we'd love you forever as we feel like it really shouldn't be allowed but can't seem to find anything on preventing it.
Many thanks in advance
