Hypnotist?

Anyone know where I can get one, and how much do they cost? I'm not joking by the way, because there are lots of things that I would like to improve in my life, and being lazy as I am, I'd like to find a hypnotist to solve my problems.
I've watched some programmes about people being hypnotised, and they've had dramatic improvements in their lives... sounds too good to be true though.
So, anyone know anything about this, and where I could find one?

 Thanks
Started looking into this myself the other day actually. Think a session is on average about £40. Want to get hyponotised to make me more motivated for my exams! I'm so lazy!

Go to www.yell.co.uk and put in hypnotist and where you live, will bring a load up. Let us know how you get on.

My dad went to see a hypnotist 4 weeks ago to try and give up smoking.
He's smoked 20-40 a day for 35 years, and never really wanted to give up because he reckoned the damage was already done! Anyway, he hasn't smoked since he went to see the hypnotist! He does have quite a few boxes of mints/chewing gum now though. Lol.

Hope you manage to find a good 'un.

Thanks guys, also, do you need parents consent? My parents are highly religious and they might think it a bit odd or "evil" or something like that.
How effective are they?

Anyone with experiences with hypnotists before, or know anyone who's seen one?

Thanks for your replies
might do under 18, dont know though

I used to go to a hypnotherapist because of agoraphobia (had it since I was 12 and still can't spell it  ) and I found it really helpful. It was quite nice to go in a way because it was so relaxing. I think my sessions cost about £40 too, but I only needed about five if I remembe correctly because it's so effective!

Is your condition totally cured now then? It really is amazing how effective they can be, a friend of mine had obsessive compulsive disorder and she was much much better after seeing a hypnotherapist (though not totally cured).
