I'd help but I'm not really sure what you need to know... firstly what level chemistry is this? AS? GCSE?

With strong/weak acids its unlikely to be GCSE.

Not necessarily. GCSE does qualitatively introduce weak acids and bases.

But you're right, it is probably not GCSE - I dont remember activation energy being discussed back then. Sprite, if you could outline your experiment, I'm sure I can give you some pointers.

Cheers

all u guys thank you sooooooo much for replying.
its A2 level on the nuffield syllabus.
im doing the effect of a strong acid and weak acid on activation energy.
the strong acid is HCl and the weak acid is ethanoic acid.
both of these are being separatley reacted with Mg and hydrogen gas is being collected in a gas syringe.
using this im gonna work out the activation energy.

the thing is i've carried out my experiment and now gotta do the write up and my teacher says she'll mark us down if she helps us so i cant ask her help.

i dont know what to include in each section.
basicly i dont know what to write about full stop.
all help will be much appreciated.
thanx
