There seems to have been a sudden increase in BNP activity here, and I was wondering why. I'd like to ask these (non-hostile) questions:

Are you a recent BNP supporter, if so, what caused your interest?

Most people would dismiss you as immoral; a racist or a bigot or both. Where did you get these "wrong" ideas, if they are not conventional to the society you live in?

Were you a BNP supporter before you came here?

How did you find this place?

If someone asked you what social/economic class you were in, what would you say?

With personal attacks flying from all sides, wouldn't you prefer more sensible dialogue?

Hi Jon

I’ve been a BNP member for four years now and have been an activist and a election candidate. The reason I eventually joined the party was when I heard a statement by Tony Blair basically telling people that the should not vote BNP as they were evil. Now I’m the sort of person that likes to find these things out for myself and knowing the then BNP organiser (went to school with him) i got in touch and asked if I could attend a meeting. When the day of the meeting arrived I must admit to a little bit of trepidation about what I was walking in to, would it be as the media had claimed with swastikas, Nazi salutes and knuckle dragging skinheads everywhere but I needn’t have worried the meeting was made up of everyday white British people who were as concerned as me with what was happening to the country. Halfway through the meeting two policemen entered the private room and insisted to know what was going on, after a little bit of machoism by the police the landlord of the pub asked the officers to leave as the meeting was private and there was no trouble so their presence was not required. as I left the meeting with I must say a much higher regarded for the party than when I went in I noticed several police vans outside the pub and policemen in full riot gear all around and in this instant I realised that what had been said was true Blair and his people were turning this country in to a police state.

I have to admit I found the student room through a right wing web site that someone had posted comments on about this site and certain posters so I thought I’d take a look and the site interested me as the debate seems calm and polite much more than other left wing sites I have visited in the past

I class myself as working class

If you think that this site has a lot of personal insults and attacks why don't you post on the Urban75 Site and see what happens if you say something they don't agree with

Arguments in politics are best made with reference to the qualities of your own party, rather than the deficiencies of others.

NB: the word "" also has no official place in the English language.

Hmm correct me if I'm wrong (which I'm not, so don't), but wasn't the present BNP founded and led until 1999 by John Tyndall who also co-founded the Natioanl Socialist Movement?

Come now, Stalin is no more an example of Communism than Hitler is of Fascism, we both know that.

JonD is trying to ask some legitamate questions here. It would be nice if only people who have something relevant to say would post here, not things like 'the BNP are a bunch of filthy racists'. They may be in your opinion, but lets give them the chance to speak without hinderance, for once.

I admit you are right but when Mr. Griffin took over the leadership the party moved on and Became more of a Nationalist party e.g. we are concerned about the way our country is being overrun and islamified (if that is the correct term) when Mr Tyndall (god rest him) tried to retake the rains he was voted out.

Come now, Stalin is no more an example of Communism than Hitler is of Fascism, we both know that.
Nether communism or fascism has worked as so many people oppose both. In theory true communism could work if everyone was prepared to accept that no matter what their role in life they were no better than anyone else and deserved no extra reward but given the make up of human nature anyone in a position of power will even unintentionally abuse it. take for instance say a president and a road sweeper in a communist regime both on the same salary but the president works 24/7 and has a lot of responsibility to put it mildly where as the road sweeper does his eight hours goes home and switches off the president sees the road sweeper and thinks sack that if I have all this hassle I want more out of life than him so being the president he gives himself a raise. Then the General of the Army thinks why should I only get paid the same as a private and goes to the appropriate authority and says give me a rise or make me a private and so it goes on

The BNP is a fascist political party - I'm not using the term 'fascist' pejoratively, it's just the correct term to use.

And did Nick Griffin antismetic and a holocaust denier becasue he's cocnerned about the 'jewification' of Britain or is just becasue is a good old-fashioned Nazi. If he's not a Nazi why did a party that was at the time openly Nazi.

I'm sure your aware of the documentary 'Young, Nazi and Proud", even you are going to deny that Nick Griffin is a Nazi,, you cna't deny that there are strong Nazi elements within the party as they have alreday been caught on candid camera.

Really do I need to repeat what has been said so many times? Ok I will. The refusal of many councils to acknowledge Christmas, the teaching of Islam over Christianity in schools, the change in the law regarding racial and religious hate crimes, the changing of pub names so as not to offend the Muslims the decision of banks to allow shira law the taking down of advertisements that offend Muslims the ruling of government offices not to have Christmas decorations the fact that the police will not investigate race crime committed by Asian looking suspects how much more do you want

Fascism, like the Nazism in Germany or the Fascism that existed in Spain and more infamously in Italy, is the far-right politically 'reactionary' movement against Liberalism and Socialism.

idoit, what's your other account on here then?

Childish personal insults really do the anti-BNP side of the argument no favours.

JonD has posted what could be a very interesting thread, and you choose to send up and ruin it. Nice one, love. There are many threads in which you can debate BNP policy. This isn't what this thread is for. I would have quite liked to have seen some genuine responses to this, now that can't really happen. So, thank you

You will be surprised to learn that we don't want to kill all the Jews, the blacks or anybody for that matter. That makes us very different from the Nazis.
