Is it possible to see someone who isn't at your normal surgery?

I've got this lumpy spot thing on my breast. Well its like a spot I had it about a year ago and went to my doctors at home and they said not to worry about it it was just a blocked duct thing? Anyway sure enough it went away and I haven't worried about it since but its back in exactly the same place.

Now I don't think its cancer or anything like that because its a spot rather than a lump but I guess it could be and could it be hormonal I'm having trouble with my periods again as usual and my boobs go really sensitive and horrible. Anyway I've been to the doctors alot recently about various things and I don't want to go back again because they are going to think I'm the biggest hypochondriac ever. Is there anyone else I can see. I am going to leave it til my period ends and then leave it a week or so and see what happens but I really want to see someone thats not my normal GP.

You can see any doctor if they'll have you. You just need to fill in a short form to register as a temporary patient.
Are you on the pill? Sometimes that can make your breasts tender.

no I was but I'm not now.

Since then my periods and boobs and hormones have been all over the place so I guess it could be due to that.

If you have a genuine health worry - you have the right to see a doctor.
Doctors do not have the right to pass judgement.
You could try NHS direct by following this link but I suspect they will strongly advise you to see your doctor.
If there is more than one doctor at the practice you attend - you can ask to see any one of them. It's the PRACTICE you're registered with - not the individual doctor.

You can also ask to see any GP in your surgery though to go to a diff surgery you need a small form. alternativly as it is a sexual health thing a sexual health clinic might see you, and they are 100% anonymous you can even legally use a false name. though you sound more like your thinking about an oncologist. though dont worry if it was nothing to worry about then its prob nothing to worry about now.

well I'm thinking of seeing my GP at home when I go for xmas I just dont want to go to the surgery here. When I mentioned it before (before I saw the doctor at home about it) I was in about something else and I mentioned it and said I was a bit worried because of the history of breast cancer in my family she just said that the breast cancer is on the wrong side of the family for me and didn't even look at it properly. So annoying.
